Nobuyoshi Araki is one of the coolest, most prolific shutter masters of today. But Nobuyoshi-san is not your typical shashinka, the Japanese term for photographer. His style is very sexy, ultra provocative, and super erotic. For over half a century of his exceptional photographic career, he has created more than 400 photography books, from self-published, Xeroxed photo albums to brand new prints from his latest book – all of which are highlighted in his ongoing exhibition, Ararchy. There, visitors are allowed to touch the books, smell the leaves, and see (firsthand) the unmatched style of Araki.
